A Grade II listed building on Walton Road, serving East Molesey for well over a century.
Kents Chemist, now known as Kents Pharmacy, has been a valued part of the East Molesey community for well over a century.
This beautiful Grade II listed building was constructed in 1894 by Joseph Dorking, based on designs by the London architectural firm Tinker & Morewood. Originally built for the Kent family, the pharmacy remained in their ownership until the early 1960s.
Since opening its doors, the building has continuously served the local community, providing pharmacy and healthcare services for more than 100 years. Its long-standing presence is a testament to the important role it has played in the lives of residents in East Molesey and the surrounding areas.
In 2018, the pharmacy entered a new chapter when it was purchased and restored to being a family-run business, continuing the tradition of personal care and community-focused service.
To ensure the pharmacy could meet the needs of modern healthcare, the building underwent extensive refurbishment in 2020. These improvements have enabled us to provide a wider range of modern pharmacy and healthcare services, while carefully preserving the character and heritage of this historic landmark.
Today, Kents Pharmacy proudly combines its rich Victorian heritage with a commitment to delivering high-quality, modern healthcare services for the community it has served for generations.
